Darynne Dahlem

Miss Arkansas 2019 & 2020

If anyone is an expert on the job of Miss Arkansas, it is the only woman to have ever had it for two years. Darynne Dahlem competed for the title of Miss Arkansas five times before winning the coveted crown. She was also the first Miss Arkansas to be crowned in the wake of Miss America 2.0 and the only Miss Arkansas to hold the title for two years, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Watch as Darynne shares her unique insight into the Miss America Organization, the transition to 2.0 and the future of the organization.

Sydney Wendfeldt

Miss Arkansas Candidate '19, '21, '22

Sydney Wendfeldt competed in Miss Arkansas for the first time in 2019 and was prepared to take the stage again after winning her second preliminary title in 2020 before all Miss America competitions were put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When she was finally able to compete again at Miss Arkansas in June of 2021, she was named fourth runner-up. Listen as Sydney shares her thoughts on Miss America 2.0 and the future of the MAO.

Emma (Pitts) George

Miss Arkansas Candidate '17, '18, '19

Emma (Pitts) George began competing in the Miss America Organization for the same reason many young women do - to help fund her higher education goals. While she gained much during her time in the MAO, the three titles she held and the scholarships she earned didn't come without their challenges. Watch as Emma reflects on her journey in the original MAO and the transition to 2.0.
